For best results, soak in a large bowl or bucket.  Ensure Water Bubbles are completely immersed throughout the soaking process and add more water if necessary.

If you wish to feed flowers/plants, dissolve feed in water prior to soaking Water Bubbles.  Plants will benefit from the gradual release of water and feed.  Do not add feed directly to hydrated Water Bubbles.

Layer or mix colours for stunning effects.

Direct sunlight or central heating will shorten the life of Water Bubbles and may discolour them.

Special attention needs to be taken when displaying roses as these beautiful flowers need extra water.  Just add a small amount of extra water in the bottom of the vase to cover the base of the stems.

Mix spent Water Bubbles with soil in your plant pots to reduce watering.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.  I have soaked Water Bubbles overnight, why do they still look like frogspawn?
A.  The Water Bubbles need draining.  Allow to drip dry in a sieve for about an hour before using.

Q. Do I need to add water to my Water Bubbles if I am using them to arrange cut flowers?
A. No, the flowers will usually absorb all the moisture they need from the Water Bubbles.  However, roses can require more water, just add enough water to the vase to cover the bottom of the stems.

Q. How long do Water Bubbles last?
A. Water Bubbles can last for up to one year, although direct sunlight and excessive heat will shorten their life.  If used with cut flowers, to lengthen the life of your Water Bubbles, each time you change your flowers, rinse the Water Bubbles and drain.  This will help to prolong their life and keep them sparkling.

Q. How do Water Bubbles work?
A. Water Bubbles are porous and cling to the stems of flowers allowing the flower to extract water.  As stems are not left to stand in excessive water they do not rot and therefore you do not get scummy green water in your vases.

Q. Are Water Bubbles safe?
A. Yes.  They are non-toxic, environmentally friendly and extremely safe.  They are made from polyacrylamides which have been around for over 30 years and are in widespread use in products ranging from soft contact lenses to sunscreens.  However, please remember that Water Bubbles are for decorative purposes only and are not suitable for young children and/or animals.
